Your Heartsong is a representation of who you are and what you wish to accomplish and share. Your wedding ceremony will give you a lifetime of memories. It should reflect your love for each other, your shared dreams and hopes. It is meant to send you on your way into a new life…into a loving, life-enhancing marriage. My goal is to create the perfect ceremony for you…one with meaning, beauty and joy.

Who you are, how you met, what your values are, the dynamics of your ceremony...these are some of the topics of our first meeting together. You may wish your wedding to be minimal and understated. Or you may want it to be ceremonial and expressive. You may desire a spiritual ceremony without strong religious overtones. Together we will discover your specific needs and desires.

Using the traditional structure and symbols of the wedding ceremony as a basic foundation, l build upon that foundation with ceremonial elements, poetry, songs, and prayers that resonate with you. I will suggest ways you can involve your guests in celebrating with you, in witnessing your commitment, and in surrounding you with their blessings and love. We will bring personal elements into your ceremony which make it come alive.

Once I have a feeling for who you are and what type of ceremony you'd like to have, I create a first draft. You review it, make any changes that you'd like and add certain elements that you'd like to include. It becomes a collaboration of your desires and my experience until your unique ceremony has been created.
